|“E Flat” |
prismacolor pencil on black A3 paper,
297 x 420 mm, (11.7 x 16.5 in)
Smelly ghostly gas hands play the instrument.
The cup cake came from my old high school, where one would fart into their hands and gift it to the face of an unsuspecting victim saying the words "cup cake!" which
turned out wasn't a thing in other schools.
Bubbling farts escape the trumpet, and a butterfly to pretty up the joint.
Lighting and shading was a chore as usual on black paper.
I wanted the trumpet pushing against the anus but also wanted to detail the butt hole too with all its wrinkles and folds, but you can't have your cake and eat it too.
