It will never happen

I spent a good two weeks on this one, until I decided to abandon it, I could not get the detail I wanted into the hands, them being too small, and this was a sign, if I could not detail hands, there was no way I could get a decent face going on, with out it looking cartoonish. So I've painted over the whole thing, maybe I'll draw it up in colour pencil one day.
